Northern Saskatchewan Fishing Lodges and Family Resorts
The lure of the north lies in its natural beauty, where rolling farm and ranchland meet vast forest and lakeland, stretching all the way to the Northwest Territories. Its grandeur is felt from the very southern fringe of the boreal forest through the vast and accessible wilderness of lakes, rivers, woodlands and Precambrian shield.

| Great
Canadian fishing, exciting fly-fishing, big game hunting, canoe trips
and outdoor adventures in the Saskatchewan wilderness. Offering your
choice of full-service, light housekeeping or outpost plans. Trophy
northern pike, lake trout, walleye and arctic grayling. Oliver is
a large lake, about 20 miles long, and ranges from 1/2 mile to 5 miles
wide. The lake is broken up with a large number of bays and over 100
islands which means you can have sheltered, safe fishing, even on
windy days. It has many deep holes, reefs and rocky points which make
an ideal habitat for lake trout. In addition, the numerous bays and
shallows yield trophy Northern pike. Walleye are caught in several
other lakes that we fish. Arctic grayling and whitefish are found
in the river which drains Oliver Lake. From our base on McKay Island,
you can easily head into several other lakes, besides Oliver, for
an exciting day's fishing and adventure at no extra cost. |

Located
on Reindeer Lake in Northern Saskatchewan, Lawrence Bay Lodge offers
some of the best fresh water northern pike, walleye, arctic grayling
and lake trout fishing in Canada. At Reindeer Lake and the surrounding
outpost camps, you will find that the fish in our area are very heavy
for their length, with the smaller heads and large stocky bodies.
The lakes have a large number of islands with many bays and large
wood flats for big northern pike. We also have the rocky points and
deep waters for the lake trout. We practice a very strict program
to ensure that the larger fish are all returned to the lake. Our guests
catch Pike up to 53" long and a very large number from 40"-49" long.
For great fishing, it doesn’t get any better. To offer the best fishing
guides in the area. We use new 18’ deep transom Lund boats, 40hp Mercury
motors, seats with back rests and life jackets. We also have two floatplanes
(a Beaver and a Cessna 180) that we use for our modern outpost camps.

Milton Lake Lodge is situated on the north shore of the lake, 40 miles
south of the North West Territories border, in far north-eastern Saskatchewan.
Stony Rapids is the transfer point for guests coming from Saskatoon by
charter air service. Be the first to fish one of the planet's last untouched
areas... the far north of Saskatchewan between the 59th and 60th parallel,
where we have the Grand Slam of Saskatchewan sportsfish: lake trout, arctic
grayling, northern pike and walleye. Fish for all four species within
minutes of the lodge. The Porcupine River and East Porcupine River are
near the lodge, and are great for fly-fishing grayling. The lake has many
sheltered bays and islands, so there's always somewhere to fish, even
if the weather isn't co-operating fully. No fly-outs, no long boat rides.
Outposts:
We operate smaller and self-sufficient accommodations at Walker Lake Outpost
and Misekumaw Lake Outpost, located on lakes approximately seven miles
south and 23 miles south of Milton Lake Lodge. Both offer secluded fly-in
fishing for small groups. Guides are available on request. |
