Christie Lake is a beautiful lake situated just west of Perth Ontario. Just an hour's drive from Ottawa, the nation's capital, Christie Lake is in the middle of beautiful Lanark County where wildlife, rural and urban activities are all close at hand. Our sheltered lagoon offers swimming and family fun on the beach, while the lake offers an abundance of fish including pickerel, pike and bass.

You have a choice of 7 cottages at the resort ranging from two to four bedrooms. Our cottages are well kept housekeeping units with full amenities including microwave ovens, gas BBQ's and coffee makers. VCR and video rentals, boat rentals and family activities are also available.

We offer a children's program which has the kids doing crafts or learning about nature three mornings a week. You can fish, water ski or just slowly cruise this large lake that runs approximately 8 kilometres long. Enjoy a hike in one of the many conservation areas or provincial parks nearby.

Our full service Marina offers everything needed to enjoy your time the lake. Our Marina store offers everything from boat and fishing supplies to propane , food and cottaging supplies, pop, an ice cream counter and coffee hot every morning. Our boat rentals include pontoon boats, powerboats, fishing boats, pedal boats and canoes each maintained and inspected by our full time technician before use.

Sunny Hill Resort

"Sunny Hill Resort", located on the east shore of Bark Lake, offers natural trails and acres of woodlands for bird and wildlife watching; explore the 63 miles of shoreline surrounding Bark Lake, discovering uninhabited beaches and coves. Good fishing for bass, pickerel/walleye, pike, trout and whitefish in winter in our heated ice huts.

Year-round accommodation in a variety of self-catering units; waterfront cottages from 1 – 5 bedroom; 2 and 4 bedroom waterview units; all with fireplace; some with 2-person Jacuzzi; and air-conditioned, non-smoking, waterfront Park Models – all units have TV, gas BBQ, and linens.

Blue Moon Retreat

A unique four season resort on peaceful Purdy Lake between Bancroft and Barry's Bay. Our country getaway is located on a former sugar bush and has over 1,500 feet of lake frontage. For activities you can enjoy tennis, fishing (lake trout, pike and rock bass), swimming (with swimming raft), canoeing, badminton, beach volleyball, horseshoes, sunbathing, rowboats and paddle boats, or enjoy the beautiful sunsets over Purdy Lake, the Wellness Spa with its 8 person hot tub and sauna, star gazing, bird watching, and sing songs around your own outdoor fire.

The cottages/houses accommodate from 2 - 10 guests and are completely equipped with standard appliances color TV, VCR, and are decorated as a country getaway (you’ll love the duvets). The largest units have dishwashers, satellite TV, and a washer and dryer. For those fortunate enough to stay in Shangri La, the cathedral ceilings, large fieldstone fireplace and personal hot tub will bring hours of enjoyment. While those in the Chalet will no doubt enjoy the Jacuzzi tub and 52’’ color TV.

Algonquin Park that is only about 60 km away has many beautiful wilderness areas, a logging museum, a visitors center, conducted walks, public wolf howls, and much more. Closer by you can take guided ecology walks, forest tours, hiking, white water rafting, boat tours, rockhounding, and more. Winter activities at Blue Moon include cross country skiing and snowmobiling (provincial trail system) with alpine skiing, dogsledding, and snowboarding nearby.

The lodge is located on Flower Lake, with access to the Green, Joe's, and several other lakes. Together, these lakes provide several miles of great walleye, bass, northerns, and trout fishing. Joe's Lake is a true Canadian watershed lake with beautifully clean water and up to 16 feet of visibility. We have top-quality experienced guides who can put you on the fish! All boats have electric or 5hp gas motors. Bait & tackle, rods & reels, fish wrap, and storage are available.

The lodge is a great vacation for families and the serious outdoorsman. Our cottage is fully modernized, with full kitchen and showers. There are seven bedrooms available and a large community room.

Our camp is located next to a network of Atv, motocross and snowmobiles trails.There is also a lot of kilometers of logging trails in the mountains and around the lakes close to the camp offering photo opportunities around every corner. The trails offer a vast variety of challenges and fantastic scenery.
