Beauview is located on beautiful Lake of Bays, Muskoka, Ontario and offers fishing for lake trout, speckled trout ,and bass. Beauview is an Ontario SuperHost Resort and has been providing great vacation memories for over 25 years. The resort is small, friendly, unpretentious, and set back in a quiet bay. There's lot's to do on site and nearby, or you can just relax by the fireplace and do nothing!

Special needs: Two of our cottages have a step that would accommodate a walker, and one includes a wheelchair ramp. For swimming, the water deepens gradually making it safe for both inexperienced and competent water enthusiasts. Water sports of all types are popular. The area is excellent for viewing wildlife, moose, and is home to over 200 species of birds.

Beauview offers excellent spring fishing, summer family fun, the autumn cavalcade of colours, and exciting winter activities. Snowmobile the provincial trail system or enjoy the excellent nordic and downhill skiing located nearby.

Sand Lake Cottages & Inn

A Muskoka Ontario resort that promises clean, spacious, modern waterfront housekeeping cottages. Only a 2.5 hour drive from Toronto, Sand Lake cottage resort is close to the town of Huntsville and a great base accommodation for visits and adventures in Algonquin Provincial Park. The north Muskoka district is known for it's abundance of lakes and the rugged character of the Canadian Shield to photography. Bass & Lake Trout fishing in the lake is excellent and we do have fishing boat rentals available. You can also bring your own boat and the boat launch is only 1 km away.

Our resorts features a wonderful sand beach and our rental cottages are clean, spacious and fully equipped with modern amenities. The resort is nestled in among towering pines and the cottages have an excellent view of the lake. A romantic getaway is a sure hit as our resort offers a suite where the bedroom wall opens into the living room so that you can enjoy the wood fireplace or just relax at the private gazebo in the Hot Tub. We have campfire facilities and marshmallow roasts in the evenings. The children's play area is a popular attraction and the pedal boats and canoes are complimentary.

Sand Lake cottage resort is close to Algonquin Park and most of our guests visit the park to do some hiking or sightseeing. If you are interested in hiking we also have the Sequin Trail near the resort. Our proximity to Muskoka town of Huntsville means shopping, golf, boat tours and downhill skiing is just minutes away.

During the winter months our Muskoka resort is well known to snowmobilers with direct access to OFSC trails. For ice fishermen we also have an ice hut available. Atv touring is also becoming popular in the area and allows guests to ride into true wilderness settings of remote lakes and natural landscapes.

Logging Chain Lodge

Logging Chain Lodge is a housekeeping cottage resort on Lake of Bays - Muskoka, Ontario
between Huntsville and Algonquin Park. Our location on Highway 60 is very convenient for visiting Algonquin Park just 20 KM (12 miles) away - and to downtown Huntsville, the largest community in Muskoka, with its excellent shopping. Logging Chain Lodge is a pleasant 3 hour drive from Toronto.

Our two and three bedroom non-smoking cottages are fully equipped and feature automatic electric heating in each room. Spacious kitchens are equipped with a full size electric stove, refrigerator, ample cupboard space, coffee maker, cooking utensils, dishes, cutlery and microwave. Living rooms feature a large picture window overlooking the Lake of Bays. We supply BBQ's, picnic tables and lawn chairs. The children's play area is easy to monitor from every cottage and situated far enough from the beach for safety. During July and August, children enjoy crafts, treasure hunts and games each week day morning from 9:00 until 10:30.

Activities include swimming and sunbathing with 340 feet of gently sloping sand beach on Muskoka's Lake of Bays, boating, sailing, and fishing for lake trout or wet a line for bass in one of the many bays on the lake. Also bike rentals are available on site and an excellent selection of golf courses and tennis courts are only minutes away.
