A pleasant welcome awaits you at Birch Lodge as you come and enjoy the seasons and relax on the peaceful shores of Granary Lake (Magog Lake)! We are located in the Canadian Northeast, between Sudbury and Sault Ste. Marie, just fifteen kilometres north of Blind River. A private little lake surrounded by mountains and beautiful scenery.

Each of our fully equipped cottages overlooks 870 feet of shoreline and sandy beach area, providing a spectacular view for families and sportsmen alike; it provides an ideal setting for an evening campfire roasting marshmallows or watching the Northern Lights. All bedding, comforters and pillows are also provided or you may bring your own sleeping bag. Outside, you will have a propane BBQ with utensils and propane is provided, as well as a picnic table. Each cottage also comes with a canoe. Our water is clean for great swimming, canoeing and boating in the summer. You may also pick blueberries and raspberries when they are in season. Go hiking or mountain biking on the trails or take an ATV ride.

Early spring fishing for the sportsmen or fall fishing and hunting are also available. Our beautiful white winters offer ice-fishing, snow shoeing and cross-country skiing as well some of Northern Ontario's greatest snowmobiling trails. We have something for everyone!

Brennan Harbour Resort

Brennan Harbour is a quality fishing camp that has a great reputation for fantastic fishing, quality accommodations, excellent meals and friendly service. The North Channel Islands and the famous Spanish River offer some of the best fishing in Northeastern Ontario. Fishing the Whalesback Channel of Lake Huron and the Spanish River offers anglers a wide variety of fishing action. Walleye (Pickerel), Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass and Perch tend to be the most sought after, but there are also Musky, Catfish, Rainbow Trout, Lake Trout and Salmon. This area has remained relatively untouched. You will always be able to find a secluded bay.

We offer all-inclusive packages in American Plan, Evening Meal Plan or Housekeeping Plan. Located on a rocky point on Bushwell Bay are 9 modern guest cottages that comfortably accommodate from 2 to 6 guests. Our buildings, grounds, boats and motors are immaculately maintained and our friendly staff will see to your needs. Our private main centre beach is a natural clean sand beach, flanked by rock outcroppings. The west beach is ideal for walking, driftwood gathering and bird watching. Included in all Brennan Harbour Resort package plans are 16 foot aluminum boats, fully equipped with fish finders, flat floors, safety equipment, swivel seats with backrests and dependable 20 hp outboards.

For those of you bringing your own boats, we provide launching, docking and battery charging at no cost. Enjoy a game of horseshoes, sit around the campfire pit in the evening, or take a walk along the shore where you will have some great wildlife and bird watching opportunities. It is possible to see moose, deer, beaver, otter as well as bald eagles, blue heron and many other species of birds in their natural environment. You will never forget the haunting call of the loon and our magnificent northern sunsets: don't forget to bring your camera. Within a 35 minute drive of the lodge, we also have 3 golf courses and horseback riding. Fishing licenses, night crawlers, ice and souvenir T-Shirts, hats and sweatshirts are available at the lodge at Brennan Harbour.

Waterfalls Lodge

Our drive-to Lodge is located in Northern Ontario near the town of Spanish about 125 miles east of Sault Saint Marie. You'll find us located in one of the finest fishing areas of North Central Ontario. Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, Northern Pike, Lake Trout, Perch and panfish. We are the only lodge on 7 inland lakes and dozens of remote lakes. Your catch will vary from that long awaited "trophy" for mounting to a stringer full of eaters.

Enjoy superb waterfront cottages. 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom units are available. Most lakeside units are stand-alone cottages. However, four of our larger units are housed in a long building near the swimming beach. We also have a unique 2-bedroom cabin located by our beautiful waterfalls. Our new 3200 square foot fully licensed dining room and recreation complex invites you to enjoy our fabulous fine dining and drinks. Fall Hunting - We offer 7-day fully guided rifle or bow hunting for BLACK BEAR over active baits, and we hunt in one of the most productive areas in Ontario. Our black bear hunts are available during the first two weeks of September, and we take no more than 8 hunters per week. In mid October we offer 7-day, all inclusive trophy MOOSE HUNTS. One of our experienced guides will scout the area immediately prior to your arrival, and he will hunt with you. Included is a fully equipped housekeeping cottage, a boat and motor with gas supplied, trail lunches, home cooked meals at the Lodge, and much more! Enjoy GROUSE HUNTING as an extra "Daily Adventure" from September 15 through October. Your guide will take you hunting for grouse, then you can enjoy fishing or a variety of other activities in the evening.

Echo Lake Cottages

Beautiful rental cottages on the shores of Echo Lake in Ontario, Canada. Located minutes northeast of Sault Ste. Marie, they are in the heart of wilderness while still being close to the comforts of civilization. Echo Lake is one of the largest lakes in the area. Stretching 5 miles long, 1 mile wide, and nearly 90 feet deep, it offers the angler a diverse array of fish. The most common species are Walleye, Northern Pike, Small Mouth Bass, and Perch.

Both cabins are available to rent year round at a competitive price. Our wonderful new 3 bedroom fully furnished rental cottage has all of the conveniences of a resort, yet you enjoy the quiet and privacy of home at great budget-saving rates. Our newly remodeled 3 bedroom rental cabin is a wonderfully cozy retreat. It is completely furnished and all amenities are provided. Adventure abounds around each turn at Echo Lake. Hundreds of miles of logging roads and trails offer new challenges while the hills and mountains present spectacular views for your enjoyment. Be sure to pack a compass, map and GPS, and don't forget the camera. Don't forget that September and October are great months to stay at the cabin or cottage. The fall tree colors are fantastic.
