Located
in the heart of Northern Ontario and easily accessible
by car or air, Chapleau Lodge offers luxury, affordability,
and versitility for your fishing needs. We are the
only Lodge located on Borden Lake, a spring-fed body
of water, reaching depths of 200 feet. Borden Lake
sits north of the Arctic Watershed, and boasts healthy
walleye, northern pike, lake trout, whitefish, smallmouth
bass, and speckled trout. Our package plans include
a 14' clean dry ''Starcraft'' fishing boat with 9.9
outboard motor fully equipped with life vests, safety
cushions, swivel seats, net, stringer, anchor and
oars and daily bait. One boat for each 2 or 3 adults.
Full fish cleaning, freezing and packing service.
American
Plan Includes a beautiful comfortable room with en
suite bathroom and a large lakefront view in our main
Lodge. All spotlessly clean, with full maid service
and three full choice menu meals each day. Housekeeping
Plan Includes our comfortable six (6) person to (2)
person lakefront cottages completely equipped with
fridge, stove, microwave, barbecue, dishes, cookware,
electric heating, plenty of hot water, 3 piece bathroom
and bed linens.
Each day is unique, from the rise of the sun, to its
picture-perfect set. Pristine waters, spectacular
cliffs, lush forest are part of mother nature's canvas.
The haunting cries of the loon , sight of a cow moose
and her calf grazing along the water's edge imprint
themselves into memories of Chapleau Lodge. Fly your
own aircraft to the Chapleau Airport and we will shuttle
you to and from the lodge. |

Mile Lake Lodge  |

The wilderness experiences are almost endless at Five
Mile Lake Lodge. You can spend your vacation enjoying
the excellent fishing and natural beauty of Five Mile
lake and the surrounding area. Our main lodge is located
on the shores of Five Mile Lake, in the heart of the
rugged, unspoiled beauty of Northern Ontario. The
lake is a unique and fertile body of water approximately
7 1/2 miles long, with a shoreline in excess of 37
miles. The lake is made up of many arms, bays and
quiet inlets where the water is never too rough to
fish.
You
will find that our Canada Select cottages are clean,
well maintained and comfortably furnished. All cottages
have an excellent lake front exposure and use of the
docking facilities. You will appreciate the modern
fully equipped kitchens and all cottages have full
four piece baths. The main camp cottages are gas heated
and as a special feature, rest- fully gas lighted.
Bed linens, cookware and tableware are supplied. You
need only bring foods, toiletries, towels and personal
items. Each cabin has their own propane BBQ grill
for your outdoor cooking pleasure. Canoe and peddleboat
rentals are also available
Our
Goldie Lake Outpost Camp offers fishing for Pike,
Lake Trout, White Fish and Small Mouth Bass. with
nearby lakes for excellent fishing for Walleye, Pike,
Perch and Whitefish. The cabin sleeps up to 10 people
with a large sun room. The cabin is located on the
north end of Goldie Lake with beach front and is the
only cabin on the lake. Goldie is accessible by float
plane or train (CPR) |

Moose Horn Lodge is located on beautiful McLennan
Lake in the remote wilderness region of Chapleau,
Ontario. The famous Chapleau River and surrounding
lakes produce some of the best walleye, northern pike,
smallmouth bass, perch, lake trout and brook trout
fishing in Canada. No fishing trip is complete without
adding a big pike to that full stringer of walleyes.
Our log style fully equipped cottages are comfortable
and our deluxe units are top shelf. Relax at the main
lodge, on our porch, or in some sunshine, or just
look out over the lake. Kids can fish from the shore,
swim, hike or use our play-center.
We offer bear viewing in their natural habitat and
there is a good chance of seeing moose, lynx, bald
eagles, osprey, wolves and maybe the very rare cougar.
Looking to hunt black bear or moose? Our bear hunt
exceeds the 90% success rate and is why Moose Horn
is known all over North America. |

| Enjoy a remote
wilderness vacation at Tatnall Camp which includes a train
ride on the famous Algoma Central Railway or travel by float
plane. Tatnall Camp is
situated on a beautiful peninsula overlooking 14 mile long Oba Lake. Our
Camp is your retreat from the bustle of the city, the hustling highway,
a place where you can appreciate God's beauty. Excellent fishing for walleye, northern, jumbo
perch and whitefish. Fourteen mile long Oba Lake has many
adjoining rivers and creeks which offer a natural feeding
ground for an unbelievable variety of fish. Enjoy some great fishing,
swimming, relaxing, a game of pool, canoeing, viewing wildlife--as well
as the awesome northern lights!
We have 7 fully equipped log and wood frame cabins, electric
fridges, shower, flush toilets, main lodge with television
and pool table, freezer service and a store. 14 foot aluminum
boats with seat cushionsand 9.9 and 15 HP motors including
all gas. 7-6-5-4 day trips as well as a weekender trip are available.
Inquire about our Family or Father and Son Packages. Canoe
trips and outfitting available. Enjoy fishing, swimming, relaxing,
a game of pool, canoeing, viewing wildlife--as well as the
awesome northern lights! Oba Lake is adjacent to the vast
Chapleau Game Preserve to the east. Be sure to bring your
camera! The scenery is spectacular and the wildlife is abundant!

hosts, Frank and Susan Charbonneau, invite you to
a complete wilderness experience, whether it be fishing,
hunting, or simply relaxing in our beautiful and spacious
lodge. Situated on two of the most scenic lakes in
northern Ontario, these lakes offer you 34 miles of
clean water for fishing and boating.
Our waters, Manitowik Lake, Whitefish Lake and the
Michipicoten River, are included in the famous Voyageur
Canoe Route chain that ranges from Hudson Bay to Lake
Superior. Fishing
at Totomenai Lodge is surpassed by none. Our lakes
offers excellent walleye, northern pike, lake trout,
smallmouth bass, speckled trout, whitefish and perch
fishing. Praiseworthy fishing, magnificent scenery
and laudable wildlife combine to make a visit to Totomenai
Lodge truly a complete wilderness experience. Guides
are also available upon request.
Totomenai
Lodge has two 3-bedroom cabins, six 2-bedroom cabins
and one 1-bedroom cabin. Our housekeeping staff is
scrupulous in their cleaning efforts. One of our staff
visits each cabin on a daily basis to maintain our
standards and to attend to your comforts. The
lodge offers 3600 square feet of interior space with
dining facilities and our recreation area. Share that
end-of-day fishing story with our other guests as
you unwind on our spacious deck while your host barbecues
steaks for your evening meal. The view from the lodge
is breath-taking.
We
offer a fall bear hunt and specialize in archery hunting.
In addition, you can hunt waterfowl, grouse, wolf
and moose. However, the number of adult moose tags
available is limited, so contact us early for your
reservation

Anjigami (main camp) is located 30 miles southeast
of Wawa, Ontario on Anjigami Lake. Camp
Anjigami is made up of both our Main Camp facilities,
located on Anjigami Lake; and our five remote Outpost
camps nestled in the heart of the Canadian wilderness.
Seven-mile long, glacial Anjigami Lake offers you
a chance to fish for pike, walleye, or lake trout.
Or portage to ten nearby lakes where boats are cached,
for additional fishing, including speckled trout.
You can also explore and hike the surrounding woods
for animal life, wild flowers, or pick the delicious
wild raspberries and blueberries.
Camp Anjigami's Housekeeping
Plan offers you comfortable, modern facilities in
the heart of the northern Ontario wilderness. The
camp's solitude lends itself to group retreats-family,
business, or church groups. A great place to bring
the whole family for a vacation they will long remember!
Our
remote camps are reachable only by float plane and/or
portage. Each camp is the only camp on the lake and offers
plenty of space for exceptional fishing and exploring.
You can also portage to nearby lakes for additional fishing.
There is a boat cached at each of the portage lakes. All
of our outpost cabins are equipped a
total of six beds, propane stove/oven, refrigerator, and
lights, three season enclosed porch, cooking and eating
utensils and stove. The five outpost camps are situated
in an unique and beautiful settings:
Drive directly to the camp, or hop aboard the Algoma
Central Railway. Make your trip-to and from Camp Anjigami-an
adventure! What a great way to fully enjoy the beauty
of the season as you travel through the famous Algoma
Central Country, including the Agawa Canyon. Call

In, Train In, or Fly In to Fox's Den Lodge on Dog Lake
and beautiful Lochalsh Bay. Adjacent to the north, is
the vast Chapleau Game Preserve, ( the largest in the
western hemisphere), a haven for bear, moose, and smaller
wildlife. To the south, Manitou Mountain, with numerous
rock ledges and even an abandoned gold mine.
Northern Pike, Walleye, Lake Trout, Perch and Whitefish
thrive in these waters. We will provide maps and depth
charts. Live bait, gas and tackle are available. Arrangements
can be made for guides and daily fly-in fishing from camp
base. Current model 15 h.p. Johnson motors, 14 - 16 ft.
boats with swivel seats are supplied.
Our
modern deluxe cabins are situated on a hill overlooking
the lake. Each unit is equipped with electricity, fridge,
cooking utensils, hot water, a three piece bath, furnished
bedrooms and living room. As well; use of lounge with
satellite T.V. , library and sauna. Fox's Den is a full
service Lodge offering the American Plan as well as Housekeeping
packages. Relax and enjoy the clean air, peaceful scenery,
and warm hospitality.
Transportation:
Rail service connections can be made from Thunder Bay
and White River (west); Toronto, or you may wish to shorten
the driving distance by taking a float plane into camp
from Hawk Junction or Sault Ste. Marie. Boat transportation
is provided to and from lodge. |
