Every visitor should experience the phenomenon of the world's highest tides in the Bay of Fundy. Considered one of the marine wonders of the world, the tides can rise and fall by more than 10 metres (33 feet).
These tides have sculpted interesting rock formations all along the bay, and no more so than at Hopewell Rocks. The Bay of Fundy is also home to a wide variety of marine life, including a number of whale species. The shoreline is marked by numerous small fishing villages and the Bay includes the picturesque island of Grand Manan
