We invite you to come and relax in a peaceful country setting and enjoy the scenic beauty of the Turtle Mountains of Manitoba. An intriguing combination of a quaint country inn and a casual bed and breakfast, we offer spacious, restful lodging in our guesthouse. The restored turn of the century Victorian farmhouse features 4 spacious guest rooms, each one different and tastefully decorated with antiques and old fashioned country charm. After a restful night and a delicious breakfast we invite you to explore the various area attractions, all within 5 to 10 minutes of Walkinshaw Place. Join us for a cup of coffee on the spacious two-storey wrap around veranda and watch the miniature horses graze peacefully in the pasture nearby.

Walkinshaw Place is located on a 640 acre farm that consists of grain and grassed fields and 240 acres of natural woodland with hiking trails throughout. In spring the perfume from the wild blossoms fills the air and wildflowers are scattered throughout the property. Hike quietly down a trail and you may come across a deer, moose or elk. For the avid bird watcher this area is ideal in all four seasons. You may participate in daily farm life such as feeding the miniature horses or the beef cattle herd.

Walkinshaw Place located adjacent to the Turtle Mountain Provincial Park is a four seasons playground. The groomed cross-country ski trails can be accessed directly from Walkinshaw Place. The winter park includes a skating pond, tobogganing hill and outdoor hockey arena with warming huts. Seasonal facilities are offered for hiking, mountain biking, trail riding, swimming, water skiing, picnics and fishing.
