Nestled in a quiet bay surrounded by the rugged Canadian Shield, Big Whiteshell Lodge welcomes you with luxurious accommodations, a secluded atmosphere and a friendly greeting.

Our deluxe, lakefront cottages on the shore of Big Whiteshell Lake feature a fireplace, whirlpool spa, satellite TV-VCR, CD player/AM-FM radio, queen-size duvets and pillows on the beds, modern kitchen with microwave, a large, covered deck with BBQ and stunning view of the lake. Frolick in the warm water along a sandy beach and enjoy complimentary use of a paddleboat and canoe.

Rent a boat and catch "The Big One" on both Big Whiteshell and Horseshoe Lakes, hike scenic trails featuring waterfalls and rapids and enjoy a bike trail and tennis courts.

In winter, ice fish and take on the challenge of groomed snowmobile and cross-country ski trails.

Shining Falls Lodge

Set among some of Canada's most beautiful scenery & finest fishing waters - a private island lodge awaits you. The lodge sits right on the northwest edge of Manitoba’s Atikaki Wilderness Area and Ontario’s Woodland Caribou Provincial Park. This rugged terrain offers an abundance of fresh water and some of Manitoba’s most beautiful scenery and outstanding Walleye and Northern Pike fishing. Relax in style while visiting the peaceful Canadain northwoods. Wildlife is abundant including woodland caribou, loons, bald eagles, owls, moose, deer, bear, timber wolves, marten and lynx. Stroll our island or scan the shoreline to view countless species of plants and animals.

Accommodations: Each of the 4 lakeside cabins at Shining Falls Lodge has it’s own private bath, kitchen facilities, barbeque grill, deck overlooking the lake, and picnic table. Choosing the “American Plan Package” means you’ll enjoy your breakfast and evening meals in our new lakeside dining hall. Enjoy dinners of chicken, pork roast, steak, turkey, pork chops and more. Delicious desserts will be served every evening. Gather in the dining hall and hear the fish stories of the day. It’s a great time to meet new friends and get to know your own fishin’ buddies a little better. This comfortable facility can double as a wilderness board room for a corporate retreat or meeting. If you choose our “Housekeeping Package”, we’ll provide canned fruits and vegetables in the cabin. Honeymoon Getaways can be enjoyed in our #4 Cabin with its own private docks and private setting.

American Plan packages include floatplane transportation from Silver Falls or Bisset to the lodge, lodging in one of 4 wilderness cabins accommodating , meals, boat & motor, gas, shore lunch kits and more.

Keystone Lodge

Located approximately 160 kilometres (100 miles) east of Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada on the #1 Trans-Canada Highway, then 2 kilometres (1.5 miles) North on Highway #44. Your escape to relaxation is waiting for you.

A short walk is all that is needed to get to a sandy beach, marina and tennis courts, Hiking trails, liquor store and beer vendor. There are 3 restaraunts within walking distance and an ice cream stand at the beach. A 15 minute drive will get you to a golf course and riding stables.
Winter Activities: ice fishing, ice skating, downhill and cross-country skiing, with miles of excellent groomed snowmobile trails.

Betula Lake Resort's growing list of activities offers something for every age group. Whether your tastes dictate sitting back with your feet up, soaking up the summer sun, hiking, biking or hunting in the fall or action-packed spring fishing, it's all here to take you away from the rush of modern living - yours to enjoy! Northern pike, walleye and perch are plentiful in Betula Lake.

Our one, two and three bedroom cottages have private three and four piece baths, electric heat, large living rooms with picture windows, propane BBQ's and well-equipped kitchens so you can enjoy home-cooked meals away from home. Some of our cottages come equipped with fireplaces. In your yard there is a picnic table and firepit - ideal for wiener or marshmallow roasts, campfire stories and quiet moments listening for the call of the loon, gazing at the stars and perhaps catching the aura of the magical Northern Lights.

Paddle a canoe... Explore where wild rice is harvested, discover a beaver, feel the tranquility of nature where the silence is broken only by the haunting cry of a loon. Paddle down the Whiteshell River, a picturesque, unspoiled waterway. Walk a trail... The Park offers numerous hiking trails. A nearby wooded nature trail meanders through a beautiful forest and follows the scenic Whiteshell River. Deer and other wildlife are frequently spotted on this path.

Eagle Nest Resorts

Your Manitoba wilderness vacation starts with a 27 mile boat trip from Eagle Nest Landing and the nearest roadway. On this 45 minute ride you will encounter an unending panorama of islands, channels, weeded bays, and unforgettable scenery, enhanced by wild game including moose, deer, black bear, and bald eagles. You will be tracking along the same route that the voyagers used to first access central Canada. But most of all, revel in the enjoyment of not wasting a moment to land your trophy pike, walleye, or smallmouth bass right outside your doorstep.

Upon arrival at Eagle Nest, you'll enjoy deluxe fine accommodations, helpful, professional staff, and our licensed dining room. We are a small camp with only five cabins accommodating up to 32 people.
Cabins are equipped with decorative wood stoves, fridges and propane heat. Accommodations include separate bedrooms, double and single beds, two bathrooms and satellite TV. You are welcome to use our clubroom for meetings, recreation or fitness routine.

We use comfortable 16' boats and 30 hp motors for your fishing pleasure. They are professionally equipped with electric start, live wells, and padded pedestal seats. You are also welcome to enjoy our Clubroom. Log on to the Internet, overwhelm your competition in a game of pool, or other games of your choice. You will truly enjoy relaxing on the edge of the wilderness, while sharing your outdoor adventure with friends and family.
