Star Lake Fishing Resort is nestled on the edge of the Nehalliston Plateau overlooking the scenic North Thompson Valley and the friendly little town of Clearwater. The resort is ideal for fishing enthusiasts, family vacations, or quiet retreats. The majestic mountains of the world famous Wells Gray Park serve as a picturesque backdrop. The unspoiled wilderness, sparkling fresh mountain water, and virgin forests provide a relaxing vacation getaway.

At Star Lake Fishing Resort we offer five bright, clean, and spacious cabins, along with ten private campsites. Three of the five cabins are right on the waters edge, and all five have a fantastic view of the lake. Four of the campsites also sit on the waters edge, with three of these having private sundecks. Imagine sitting on your cabin veranda with the water lapping at your feet, and the only sounds you hear are the fish jumping, the fire crackling, and the mournful cry of the resident loons.

Star Lake Resort is a true "wilderness getaway". With our nearest neighbor being over 10 km. away, we offer peace, quiet, and relaxation. Of course if you are hooked on fishing then Star Lake Resort is the place to be. Star Lake is full of Kamloops Rainbow Trout, and has the added bonus of being surrounded by hundreds of out lying lakes. All full of trout! It's a fisherman's dream come true.

There is always lots to do in winter. Snowmobile or dogsled right from your cabin door. We now have snowmobiling and dogsledding tours leaving from Star Lake. With the snowmobile tours you can ride your own sled, or have one supplied. Other options include cross country skiing, snowshoeing, ice fishing and ice skating on Star Lake. There are simply miles of unused logging roads to explore.

Thuya Lakes Lodge

A warm welcome awaits you at Thuya Lakes Lodge. Our remote wilderness location is ideally suited to the individual who desires to get away from it all – perfect for fishing fanatics and families. The fishing is truly as good as it gets! We are located 65 miles (105 km) NW of Kamloops, B.C., and have the distinction of being the only resort in the area with over 30 small lakes joined by streams, Naturally Reproducing with wild Kamloops trout, perfect for Fly Fishing and Float Tubing.

Drive in to Thuya Lakes Lodge, and stay in one of our tastefully decorated cozy log cabins on the shores of Thuya Lakes, and take advantage of our full American Plan or Housekeeping Plan. Our lodge is the setting for our dining room and lounge. Guests can enjoy a hearty meal or just relax by the fireplace, mingle with the other guests or sit out on the deck amongst the many plants and flowers and enjoy the scenery.

We have, however, much more to offer than just fishing - in fact, you don't even have to fish! Hike or mountain bike the many trails into the lakes, swim, take a tour around the lakes in a boat or canoe, or just sit back and relax.

Pinantan Lake Family Resort

Pinantan Lake Family Resort has everything you want for a relaxing or active holiday. Fully equipped cabins, quiet surroundings, excellent fishing, swimming, horseback riding, hiking and biking - nature at its very best!

The Resort is perfect for a relaxing or active family holiday, re-union or group gathering. 4 fully winterized and equipped 2 bedroom cabins available for your stay. For the months of July and August we rent the cabins on a weekly basis.

Pinantan Lake is a wonderful swimming lake where you will enjoy our private beach and grounds. The lake is stocked each year with Rainbow Trout and provides a perfect opportunity for both experienced and beginner fisherpersons. There are other lakes in the area for those wanting variety. Horseback riding facilities are excellent as are hiking, biking and walking trails.

For a winter holiday, enjoy skiing, skating, ice-fishing and much more! Ski down hill or X-country, then relax by the fire in the lodge.

Johnson Lake Resort

Welcome to the beautiful pristine wilderness of Johnson Lake in the high country. Johnson Lake, at 3,800 foot elevation, is over 5 kms. long, and 200 feet at its deepest. Supplied by underground springs it attains the colour of a Caribbean ocean and visibility is well over 50 feet where the trout can be seen swimming. The fish thrive in the deep, clear, cold waters - 1 to 2 lb. fighting rainbows are common, with 3 to 5 pounders being caught by the lucky fisherman. Adjoining "Little Johnson"is perfect for endless action for children and beginners.

Cabins: Rustic and comfortable, these one-room cabins provide all the warmth and shelter needed to enjoy the natural beauty of this tiny hidden valley. The self-contained cabins overlook Little Johnson Lake. The spawning channel is just steps away, and Johnson Lake a few yards beyond. All cabins have cold running water, kitchen supplies and wood burning stoves for warmth and cooking. Most cabins have their own screened porch.

Campsites: Wooded and open, level campsites for tents, campers, trailers or motorhomes (unserviced). All sites have a fire pit and table. Central wash house with hot showers and flush toilets. The high-country setting provides an excellent layout for family reunions, club outings, and any other group activity. Fishing (fly, spin, troll), boat and canoe rentals, row boats, swimming, hiking, hunting, bird watching, exploring, mountain biking on miles of old roads.

Winter Get-away.we are open for winter cabin bookings. Bring your cross-country skis, snowshoes, ice skates or snowmobiles for a special winter wonderland experience.
