Rendezvous Lodge offers a wide range of accommodations and services catering to individuals or groups seeking a secluded yet refined retreat. The Great Room has a bay window seating area to relax and enjoy a view of the deck, ocean and surrounding Islands as well as a cozy seating area around a beautiful gas fireplace to read, watch TV or play games. Guests may enjoy a relaxing soak in the spa on the deck while enjoying the indescribable sunset or gazing at billions of stars in a truly dark sky. This is an adventure lodge with activities and expeditions available to match your sense of adventure. Fishing, sea-kayaking, sailing, adventure tours and flights are offered. Singing Sands B&B

Singing Sands Bed and Breakfast offers ocean view Comox Valley accommodation in the Little River area of Comox, on Vancouver Island in beautiful British Columbia. This is a bed and breakfast inn offering comfortable accommodation and friendly hospitality that no hotel, motel, lodge or resort in Canada can equal. Watch beautiful BC West Coast sunsets over the water from the sundeck, or take a stroll along the waterfront and explore miles of shoreline. Beachcasting for salmon passes the time peacefully and often reaps great rewards. Beachcombing and wildlife viewing are also both right at hand, and you're almost certain to see the bald eagles, sea lions, seals, otters and ospreys which abound in the area. Our home has a sunny aspect with ocean views from the guest lounge, a large wrap-around deck for your enjoyment, and a private guest entrance so you can come and go freely. We are adult-oriented and our home is a non-smoking environment. Our rooms feature private ensuite bathrooms, queen-sized beds with top quality linens, fluffy bathrobes, hair dryers, alarm clock radios, televisions, coffee and tea making facilities, ceiling fans and individually controlled thermostat heating.

Ski through the winter at nearby Mount Washington and sink into a soothing hot tub under the stars after an exhilarating day skiing powder-packed runs. Hike the trails of Forbidden Plateau or seek out backcountry and mountain adventure in Strathcona Provincial Park. Take in a round of golf at any of the eight local golf courses, including the extremely popular Crown Isle. Our central location makes Singing Sands a perfect base from which to explore Vancouver Island. The Courtenay-Comox area is conveniently served by planes, buses, ferries and the new Inland Island Highway. Singing Sands Bed and Breakfast offers free pick-up from both the Comox BC Ferries Little River terminal and the Comox airport.

Special fly fishing offer for guests staying at Singing Sands B&B - Mark has over 25 years experience of fly fishing and fly tying and is happy to share his knowledge with guests. Weather permitting, he will take guests to the beach for a two hour fly casting lesson (all equipment provided) for a nominal fee of CA$30. At certain times of the year there is a good chance of catching a salmon or two. If required he can instruct guests in the art of fly tying (all materials provided for CA$20 lesson).

Located on the northeast coast of Vancouver Island, the Johnstone Strait area is home to one of the largest resident Orca (killer whale) populations in the world. Each year the Orcas return to the area to feed on the abundant supply of salmon, and to rub their bellies on the smooth pebble ocean floor of Robson Bight (Michael Biggs Marine Sanctuary). From the seat of a kayak, Orca (killer whale) viewing is an unforgettable experience. In addition to the unsurpassed thrill of kayaking with the Orcas, Humpback and Minke whales, we will also visit culturally significant ancient native sites and enjoy a wild salmon dinner. This lodge based expedition commences from Port McNeill when you board our high speed water taxi for a scenic voyage through the emerald green waters of Johnstone Strait to your home for the next four days, the WeGo Kayaking floating lodge. This scenic forty-five minute journey to the lodge is an excellent opportunity to start acquainting yourself with this beautiful and diverse region of Vancouver Island.
