Heartwood Haven, located in the heart of the Badlands in Drumheller, Alberta is a unique venue for business meetings, conferences, seminars, family gatherings, Romantic get-aways and Weddings. The Inn has nine rooms, each with private bath and cable television with the movie channels, plus a separate Honeymoon Cottage. Most of the chambers have jet tubs and sitting areas with a fireplace. The Art Gallery displayed throughout has been consigned from a variety of Western Canadian artists, while antiques are predominantly turn-of-the-century. The intricate pine cabinets, five-foot high wainscoting, alcoves, and carvings create the romance of years gone by while modern amenities provide the creature comforts of today. Heartwood Haven provides an additional five rooms, with the same beauty and elegance that Heartwood has been synonymous with. Also included in the Haven is a full size luxury suite with kitchen, living room and dining area, large TV and double Jacuzzi, as well as a separate bedroom in addition to a king and double bed in an alcove off the living room.

Rustic luxury awaits the sportsman who craves pristine wilderness and solitude on the river. We have created a hide-a-way from everyday life in our lodge carved out of the wilderness. Hand-Crafted Log Cabins, privately situated, are roomy enough for a small to mid-size party or family. Our main lodge has a meeting room for small company meetings, or socializing. We are the only lodge and guide service in this remote river. We believe in a small, quality controlled company, therefore we only guide a maximum of six fishermen at any time and prefer to keep it at four fishers. This gives our guests the best possible experience and our utmost attention.

We offer year round river and lake fishing for incredible Rainbow and Brown trout within the best section of the river. Within easy driving distance are other walk and wade rivers offering Rainbow, Brown, Cutthroat trout, and Walleye in the high teens and 30+ lb. Northern Pike found in some local area lakes. This particular stretch of the Bow is the best dry fly fishing in North America. From the novice fisherman to the most skilled angler, this river has it all - float fishing, walk and wade, wet or dry fly fishing, night stalking and spin casting. It is the best in the world.

The simple, but ellignt main lodge includes a contemporary kitchen, large dining area and living room, fireplace, billiard table, solarium, and four private bedrooms. A picturesque, rustic log cabin below the main lodge is nestled in a spectacular wilderness setting on the banks of the Bow.
