In
today's modern world, there are still only a few basics that we all
need at the end of the day: shelter for the night, a hearty meal, and
a warm bed. At Num-Ti-Jah Lodge we believe in the simple life. Bow Lake
is a place that has always attracted artists. The clear light and sharp
peaks have inspired many. The same inspiration is also at work for the
photographer, writer, poet or individual who is looking for peace and
light in a natural setting. |

Cheechako Cabins is located in the eastern slopes of the Canadian Rocky Mountains and offers a secluded mountain retreat away from the crowds of the national parks. Truly, a home away from home. In keeping with Nordegg's historical mining background, we chose an architectural style reminiscent of the early miners cabins. The road leading to Cheechako Cabins also provides access to Mount Baldy and Coliseum Mountain, popular hiking destinations. There are also numerous lookouts, points of interest and trail access further down the David Thompson Highway. Numerous local lakes and rivers like the North Saskatchewan, Blackstone and Clive offer great trout fishing to the fly and burbot, saugeen, walleye, whitefish and lake trout to the angler. Cheechako
Cabins is a family owned and operated small resort, offering a secluded,
peaceful escape. We pride ourselves on providing clean, comfortable,
well-equipped cabins with many extras not normally provided at other
establishments. All the cabins are self-contained with modern, fully
equipped kitchens and bathrooms, electric heat, wood-burning stoves,
propane BBQ's and private decks. New for 2003 - satellite TV. The
cabins are situated to give as much privacy as possible with minimal
environmental impact. The outdoor common area has a large fire pit,
picnic tables and benches for lounging around the fire or for socializing
with other guests. |
