Incomparable
wilderness and history are the backdrop for the Fort Chip Lodge experience.
The most spectacular scenery, wildlife and birdwatching in Northern
Canada will take your breath away. Perched on a majestic red granite
bluff, the lodge overlooks the Lake Athabasca Delta. The lake, with
it's bounty of pickerel, northern pike and trout is the wilderness fisherman's
best kept secret! Fantastic birdwatching opportunities are available
as the area is situated under four migration routes. The Fort Chip Lodge
is nestled on the border of the Wood Buffalo National Park and home
to the largest free-roaming heard of buffalo in the world! Populated
by descendants of the Athabasca Cree and Chipewyan Native Tribes many
residents are still practicing traditional lifestyles. |

Welcome
to Gypsy Lake Lodge! Gypsy Lake Lodge is the only lodge in Gypsy Lake
Wildland Park. It was approved as a Special Places Park in the year 2000
by the Alberta Government. Accessible only by aircraft, this spring fed
lake is the ultimate treasure among the lakes of Northern Alberta. Our
catch and release policy implemented 16 years ago allows us to boast about
our 30 pound Trophy Pike. Single barbless hooks are a must. We invite
you to challenge these trophy pike with spinning rods or your favorite
fly for the ultimate fight. |

Remote
fly-in fishing and hunting in Canada's Northern Wilderness where you'll
enjoy an outdoor experience of a lifetime. Andrew Lake Lodge & Camps has
been serving the sportsman since 1975 in the remote northeast corner of
Alberta. Andrew Lake Lodge, North Leland Lake Cottages and outpost camps
are accessible by plane from Fort McMurray and provide unequaled beauty,
isolation and most importantly an outstanding fishing and hunting resource.
Andrew Lake is one of the few designated 'trophy lakes' in Alberta, Canada.
Along with nearby Leland Lakes and Boquene Lake fish populations are tremendous.
Great Northern Pike, Lake Trout and Walleye predominate. Fish in the twenty
(20) pound class are not uncommon in this part of northern Canada, where
it is daylight until midnight. Catch and release ensures that fish populations
remain healthy. |
